Established in 2003, Ambertext offers editorial and technical writing services to organisations in the UK.
I have several years’ experience as a technical author, having worked in-house for nearly four years prior to going freelance. I am well versed in explaining technically complex software in terms that non-technical users can understand.
I am also an experienced mathematical typesetter: I spent four years doing postgraduate research in mathematics at the University of Edinburgh.
Since 2003, I have expanded my range of skills to include proofreading and copy-editing. I am an Advanced Professional Member of the Society for Editors and Proofreaders.
